In our fast-paced world, where stress and chaos seem to have become constant companions, finding moments of peace and inner calm has become more essential than ever. Doing so can be emotional, intense and a painful experience. However whilst in this process of reflection, we can benefit our life forever.

While various relaxation techniques exist, one practice that has become more common, is Breathwork. Beyond its simplicity lies a profound tool that can usher us into calm, tranquillity, and self-discovery.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork, at its core, is the conscious awareness and control of our breathing patterns for therapeutic purposes. Breathing is the most natural thing we can do; however most of us only breathe on a subconscious level. Many of us fail to realise the benefits of connecting to the breath and therefore neglect to breathe on a more conscious level. By becoming aware of the breath, we feel more connected with both the physical body and our mind.

Far from being merely the automatic function that sustains life, the breath is a gateway to unlocking profound mental, emotional, and physical shifts. Drawing from ancient traditions and modern science, breathwork combines the wisdom of ages with the empirical knowledge of human physiology.

If we imagine, for a moment, the breath as a bridge connecting the external world to the inner landscapes of your being we can use intentional breathwork techniques to explore this bridge, inviting a renewed sense of awareness. These techniques can guide you to slow down or speed up with the objective of embracing the present moment fully.

 

Rob, That Breath Guy, explores these techniques through two packages: Self-Care and Healing.

 

Self-care

Within the Self-Care Package, Rob uses a mix of ancient traditions and modern science to give you breathwork tools that can be integrated into your daily routine, to relax, to energise, to prepare for an important event or for sleep. These techniques are designed to be practiced with regularity to leave you feeling less stressed, more centred, and ready for life.

Healing

Within the Healing Package, Rob explores a deep healing modality called Conscious Connected Breathing with breath retention to explore deeper parts of self through the subconscious, increase self-awareness, shift energy in the body and to identify and change patterns of thinking. This package offers the chance for a complete reset from a state where healing can take place.
